Alex Rance's sickening collision with Troy Sellwood will result in the youngster missing 3 to 4 weeks after having some plates inserted into fractured jaw at the Epworth Hospital on Sunday.
Alex's father Murry Rance confirmed the surgery on SEN on Sunday afternoon and also said Alex would be released from the Epworth on Monday.
Murry mentioned that Alex had no recollection of the collision with Sellwood a clear symptom of the concussion he received in the incident.
