Wash up of Richmond's 2010 fixture.

Well, the Tigers have been punished by the AFL for stinking up its competition last season.

The AFL sticking true to form has banished the Tigers to Sunday... where all bad teams are sent to like a naughty child to the corner.

Richmond will play 12 games on Sunday and 8 games on Saturday, the final two games are a Friday night game where Richmond will host St Kilda in round 11 at Etihad Stadium (just penciling in the loss now) and just like last year Calton will try to destoy all the hopes and dreams of Richmond supporters everywhere on Thursday night to open the AFL season.

BUT there are some positives:

12 Games at the MCG (Up from 11 in 09)
Only 4 games a Etihad (Down from 5 in 09)
Only one trip to Perth
Only play three top 8 teams twice (St Kilda, Adelaide and Carlton)
Five MCG games in-a-row (Round 16-20)
Most Road trips in First half of the season.

I am not sure if the past point is a positive or negative.... It could be all over by half way which means the softer finish to the year wont matter.

Either way Tiger fans get your Fox Sports subscriptions if you want to see the Tigers this season.
