The countdown to Cousins day was announced yesterday at the Richmond FC family day by coach Terry Wallace. We now only have three sleeps until Ben Cousins runs out onto the Docklands with his new team mates.Cousins won’t be the only new face to pull on the yellow and black on Thursday, youngsters Tyrone Vickery and Alex Rance will also be pulling on the boots but I like most Richmond and football supporters we are only looking at the number 32 jumper.
Like a Britney Spears record Ben Cousins will be in the centre of the ring come Thursday’s media circus at the docklands. Every media outlet will be down at the dome to cover the story and we are still in the pre-season! We are still many weeks away from the start of the season proper when all the story lines will be the former team mates Judd vs Cousins facing off at their new clubs.
