AFL Players Association chief executive Brendon Gale is the new CEO of the Richmond football club replacing the outgoing Steven Wright who has health issues.
This has to be the best personnel move the Tigers have made in years, Gale is the kind of guy who would have been looked at for any senior role at the AFL.
One of the things I really enjoyed Gale saying was that "I think it's fair to say it (Richmond) is not a big four club at the moment." SO TRUE
Any Richmond fan who thinks we belong in the company of Collingwood, Essendon and Carlton are kidding themselves, Richmond has been a dumpster fire for well over 20 years.
I hope a new CEO a new Coach and a clean out of the old and non performing players will get the club going in the right direction.
